    2008- DJ Parker heads to Japan to perform and support Major Industry Artist

    While in New York, DJ began to build a loyal fan base, performing in a variety of venues and selling CD’s once the performances were over. He also became an in-demand vocalist and eventually landed his big break when he sang background vocals for one of the world famous Tyler Perry's Madea Play. It was also during this time that D.J. had the opportunity to work hand in hand with several top names in the recording industry. These names included artists such as:  Coco (SWV),  Nikki Gilbert (Brownstone),  Shaniece Williams,  Gerald Levert, Kelly Price, Blackstreet, Mario Winans, and even Sean "Puffy" Combs.

    Over the years DJ has compiled an extensive collection of songs, from smooth soul filled ballads, to up beat club bangers. Although the music industry is filled with uncertainty, one thing is for certain; regardless of the style of track, DJ’s smooth silky vocals will undoubtedly have listeners begging for more.
